Marc Erpenbeck

President, George Brazil Plumbing & Electrical

Marc Erpenbeck has led George Brazil Plumbing & Electrical as president since 2013, and he also serves as its chief legal officer. He started as a civil engineer, then spent more than a decade as a construction and environmental lawyer and partner at Snell & Wilmer. In 2024 he led the Phoenix company’s move to 100 percent employee ownership. George Brazil’s roots go back to 1955, and it serves more than 13,000 service-agreement members.

Jake Gress

CEO, Goettl Air Conditioning & Plumbing

Jake Gress became chief executive of Goettl Air Conditioning & Plumbing in 2023, after a year as president. Ken Goodrich moved from chief executive to chairman in that change. Before home services, Gress led operations and marketing at L&W Supply and held senior product and national-account roles at USG. He has a marketing degree from Eastern Illinois University and an MBA from the Wisconsin School of Business.

Dan Puente

Founder & Chairman, DP Electric

Dan Puente founded DP Electric in his garage in 1990 and is now founder and chairman of the board. In 2023 he turned day-to-day leadership over to his daughter, Danielle Puente Torres, who is president and chief executive. The company became 30 percent employee-owned in 2021 and fully employee-owned in 2024. It is based in Arizona and opened an Austin operation in 2023.

Justin Cross is chief executive. He is a former aerospace engineer and a U.S. Navy veteran. He has also operated and coached across more than one industry.

Wrex Lindsay

VP of Technology

Wrex Lindsay is vice president of technology. He owns Cozy Home Efficiency, a Phoenix-area home-performance company. Field work on attics, ducts, and insulation informs how the product is built.

Jason Carr

General Counsel

Jason Carr is general counsel. He handles service contracts, operating agreements, and entity structure for the group.

Craig Devereaux

Talent & Corporate Strategy

Craig Devereaux leads talent and corporate strategy. He is an executive recruiter and the founder of Advius Group, a Phoenix firm that stays with a placement through the first 120 days. He previously built talent systems at Files.com and led recruiting at Corbins.

Blake LeSueur

CPA / Finance

Blake LeSueur is a CPA and a partner at BNL Tax & Advisory in Mesa. He works on M&A, commercial, and small-business tax, and on financial strategy. He earned an accounting degree from Brigham Young University and a master’s in taxation from Arizona State University.

John Mersek

CFO & Financial Advisory

John Mersek covers the CFO and financial-advisory seat, including capital planning. He founded Essential Investing in Phoenix in 2015 and is its chief executive. He holds a mathematics degree and an MBA from Arizona State University.
